Terri Pessutti

Terri Pessutti is the Founder of Stuart & Carroll, a color consultancy born in 2021. Having co-founded a Bay Area based brand marketing firm for upscale brands, Terri developed a fine-tuned understanding of the Pantone Matching System and how colors and design need to work together. Her love of color and great design style became the motivation behind Stuart & Carroll.

Terri is a certified Master Color Consultant through the Staging Studio and QC Design School and has completed additional training through Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, and Maria Killiam.

Stuart & Carroll is proud to be a women-owned and operated business and is based in beautiful Princeton, NJ.

I have always been inspired by color, from an organic neutral, a beautifully illustrated pattern or a moody dark color. I have a blended style that falls somewhere between Vintage French Flea & Modern Farmhouse. I love a warm, comfortable and inviting home. A home should not resemble a catalog, but portray your personal style.
  • "Terri is such a pleasure to work with. Not only does she have an incredible eye, her attention to detail and her follow through on my project was top notch. She is well versed in color theory/design and she is a pure joy to work with!”

  • "Choosing paint color can be one of the most overwhelming decorating decisions for me. Terri brought her natural talent for assessing a room’s light, its purpose and the overall vision, and created a color plan for me that has made my master bedroom a haven. Plus she’s fun, great to work with and super responsive. Incredibly helpful service.”

  • “Terri has a great eye for color. For months I was completely paralyzed about what color to paint our new built-in cabinets and was overwhelmed by all the color choices I was contemplating. My cabinets now look amazing and I’ve gotten so many compliments! The combination of Terri’s warm personality, talent and creativity make her a true pleasure to work with! "
